Opticon has announced the launch of a new CMOS camera based 2D scan engine designed to give both existing users a migration path and the option of an even more compact solution for clean sheet designs.
The MDI-1000 is an extremely compact engine (21.5x13.5x11.8mm).
The device comprises a high quality engine, together with a decoder PCB. It is capable of reading 2D codes and bar codes (subject to dimensions) from ca. 50mm to 300mm.
