E-ticketing with the PHL 7112

More and more event parks introduce E-ticketing. The monkey park Apenheul (Ape Hill) started working with this system last year (2007). The barcodes on E-tickets contain information which, when scanned, is checked and stored in the central database.

The PHL 7112 provides the following features:

  • a rugged terminal, ideal for outdoor situations
  • a pistol grip enabling extra comfort
  • an integrated barcode scanner to read the E-ticket
  • a WiFi-network connection for immediate data sending

This Opticon product and the E-tickets help Apenheul to monitor the profile of its visitors. Visitors with an E-ticket do not have to wait at the cash register anymore.
